Big Game safari in Uganda including Kidepo Valley Itinerary:
Day 1 - Entebbe - 1 night
On arrival at Entebbe you will be able to check into the comfortable Boma Guesthouse, and spend an evening visiting Africa’s largest lake, Lake Victoria. A relaxing way to spend an evening, you will be able to relax after a day of travelling.
Day 2 & 3 -Kidepo Valley National Park - 2 nights
You will be taken by domestic flight to Kidepo Valley National Park - considered one of the finest wilderness in Africa. Here you will check into the award-winning remote and ultimately luxurious Apoka Safari Lodge. Surrounded by pristine wilderness, this location is perfect for wildlife experiences.
On your second day here, you will go on a game drive to find Africa’s most magnificent animals, including Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Cheetahs and Buffaloes. You will then have the opportunity to take a sundowner cruise on the Narus River, which offers another spectacular wildlife experience.
On the third day here, you will take a domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 4 & 5 - Murchison Falls National Park - 2 nights
On your arrival, you will check into the beautiful Murchison River Lodge. Here, you’ll be able to relax whilst enjoying wonderful views of the River Nile and the surroundinglandscapes.
On your second day, you’ll be able to take another game ride and discover more of what Africa has to offer, before taking a relaxing afternoon boat cruise to end up at the magnificent Murchison Falls. Animals to spot here include Giraffes, Hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of birdlife.
Day 6 & 7 -Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - 2 nights
You will take a morning flight to Kihihi, where you will then be transferred to the beautiful Mahogany Springs. A wildlife-lover’s paradise, this is the perfect place for bird-watching and Gorilla trekking. It also offers stunning views over this dense and luscious rainforest.
On your second day, you will be able to go Gorilla trekking. Encountering one of these peaceful and majestic animals the mountain gorillas amongst other rare species perfectly ends your adventure in Uganda.
Day 8 - Departure
Today you will take a scheduled morning flight out of Bwindi (Kihihi) to Entebbe to connect with your international flight out.
